"Release Your Potential!"
About Us
The El Paso Conference
for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan, two-day event
for El Paso women to connect, learn practical and
professional strategies from local and nationally
recognized experts, and network with peers. This
conference will provide an opportunity for women's
groups to become better acquainted with each other, and
to come together as women of El Paso.
On February 19-20, El
Paso women will ‘release their potential’ at the inaugural El Paso
Conference for Women, at the Centennial Club at Fort
Bliss. The Conference is being held at the Centennial Club in
order to bring military women fully into the community
of women in El Paso.
This event is hosted
by Mayor John Cook and First Lady Tram Cook, in the
style of the Texas Conference for Women. This first time
Conference hopes to attract over 600
attendees and impact the lives of many more women from El
Paso and the surrounding region.
The conference will offer keynote speakers,
networking opportunities and alternative workshop
tracks, encouraging and empowering women to grow
personally and professionally and to influence the world
around them.
This conference will
feature recognized speakers, presenters and panelists
who are leaders in business, media, health, personal
development and finance. They will share their
experience and expertise on everything from leading
change to managing money to finding a work/life balance.
In addition to a dynamic program, exhibitors will
showcase a wide variety of products and services,
providing a unique opportunity to connect like-minded
individuals and organizations.
With our diverse
cultural landscape, we have many women's groups in El
Paso. These women's groups are each working very hard to
improve the lives of women and girls, and the community
at large. Our Showcase of Women's Groups will be an
exciting view of the extent of women's activities in El
Paso. Each group will have a display table for their
mission, their message, and materials.
Our Mission and
Goal
Our mission for the
conference is to bring together the women of El Paso in
a spirit of being celebrated, educated and validated. By
doing that we will be able to send women home with tools
that they can put into immediate use in various aspects
of their lives.
The El Paso Conference
for Women is a first-time event in El Paso and hopes to
become a premiere networking and educational experience
designed to engage, enlighten and empower women from
across the region.
So, “let’s get
connected” and become part of a new tradition!
